Service Procedure. Reprogram the PCM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford scan tool. Identify the transmission solenoid strategy number located on the transmission case. (Figure 1) Utilizing the transmission solenoid strategy 13-digit number, reprogram the solenoid strategy following the Transmission Strategy Download procedure.
1 post 路 Joined 2021. #1 路 Jul 5, 2021. New to us, 2010 Ford Transit Connect was driving downhill on interstate when RPM started to swing from 3000 to 5000 and back again. Pressure on accelerator seemed that vehicle was NOT engaged. Had to brake and shifted into 2nd gear which did seem to engage.
