Temper, Temper the title track and first release from the album had mixed reviews when it was released as a taste of what the album had to offer. The lyrics are powerful, but the pace and the way it is written seems a little forced and awkward during the verses. Time took it's toll on this band, and the fame that they got had slowly went into their heads, 2010 brought Fever which marked the downhill spiral this band would follow, and 2013 marked the official end of Bullet For My Valentine. Temper Temper starts off with "Breaking Point" which is faintly returning to the original roots of this band, and The Welsh thrash group Bullet for My Valentine works with mostly modern metal inventions and is more in touch with screamo bands than Metallica. The studio-tight harmonies and perfectly notched beats have more to do with post-'90s hard rock bands and emo-punk than the ragged-but-right free-for-alls of early thrash metal.
